NMP Distillation System
Application field:
⩥Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing: Purification of NMP waste liquid from electrode slurry coating processes.
⩥Pharmaceutical Industry: Purification of NMP used as a reaction solvent or excipient.
⩥Electronics&Semiconductor Manufacturing: Recycling NMP in photoresist stripping and cleaning processes.
⩥Battery Recycling Industry: Purification of NMP waste liquid from battery recycling processes.
Equipment advantage:
⩥Distillation purity exceeding 99.9%, meeting high-end lithium battery production requirements.
⩥Operational flexibility: The distillation system takes about 12 hours from start-up to steady state, and about 4 hours for normal shutdown; tthe feeding amount can vary between 60% and 120% of the design amount.
⩥Stable operation: Use DCS automatic control system with PID parameters set reasonably; set upper and lower limit alarm values for important temperatures and liquid levels to ensure smooth operation of the production process.
⩥Low operating cost: The operating cost of distillation in plant is 50% less than the external processing cost.
Process Principle:
If the mixed liquid is heated to boiling but only partially vaporized, the high volatility components, i.e. the components with low boiling points (called volatile components or light components), will have a higher concentration in the vapor phase than in the liquid phase, while the low volatility components, i.e. the components with high boiling points (called non-volatile components or heavy components) will have a higher concentration in the liquid phase than in the vapor phase. Similarly, when the vapor portion of a mixture condenses, the concentration of non-volatile components in the condensate is higher than in the vapor phase, and vice versa. After multiple partial vaporization or partial condensation, relatively pure volatile components can be obtained in the vapor phase, while relatively pure non-volatile components can be obtained in the liquid phase.
