Separator: A key component located between the cathode and anode of a cylindrical lithium battery, made of high-strength, thin film porous materials. Its main function is to separate the active materials of the cathode and anode, prevent direct contact between the two poles and short circuits, and allow electrolyte ions to pass through to maintain the electrochemical reaction inside the battery
